Custom Builders & Contractors was founded in 1966 by David L. Dickman, President.
The company is a general contractor serving the Michiana area in post frame and steel frame buildings for industrial, commercial, residential, churches and agricultural use.
In 1982 Custom Builders became a dealership for Borkholder Buildings. Nucor steel buildings are also offered.
Over the years, Custom Builders has grown through providing economical, high quality building services, including new and renovation construction, design, build and engineering.
In 1994 the company began expanding its services into St. Joe County and continues to grow throughout the Michiana region.
Today, throughout Elkhart City, Elkhart County, St. Joe County in Indiana and across southern Michigan, hundreds of residential buildings and businesses are standing, having been erected by Custom Builders & Contractors.
